Our Wealth Management Services program ("WMS") is an integrated blend of professional investment management and innovative financial planning. And yes, we do charge advisory fees for our services. However, we view this as our clients making a smart investment in their future, rather than a “cost”.

Advisory fees for the WMS program are based upon a combination of two fee components:

A fixed retainer fee that ranges from $250 to $500 per quarter. The retainer fee amount depends upon factors such as a client’s net worth, income, or the complexity of their financial situation.

An asset-based fee of 0.50% (½ of 1%) per year for the first $500,000 of assets under our direct advisement and 0.25% (¼ of 1%) for all other portfolio assets under advisement.  Outside accounts such as 401(k) plans are typically excluded from our fee calculations.

Advisory fees are charged on a quarterly basis, with a minimum total fee of $3,500 per year.

A few comments from Jay H. Cowles, CFP
“I’ve been in the investment management industry since 1977. I focus on managing balanced investment portfolios that are structured to minimize losses and generate solid, wealth-building investment returns.”

“I provide clients with an intelligent process for achieving their goals. I help them get clear about their situation and create a thoughtful balance between current lifestyle and future goals.”

“Take a  cost-benefit approach when deciding whether to work with a financial advisor. Can the advisor provide value?  Will you be able to look back, years from now, and feel that working with the advisor was a smart investment?”
